In Sitemark, different colors represent the status of tickets. These colors appear on ticket pins on the map and throughout the ticket views, making it easy to identify each ticket's current state at a glance.
Ticket Statuses and Their Colors
The following ticket statuses exist:
Status | Color | Description |
Red | Newly created tickets awaiting action
Blue | Tickets that have been scheduled for future work
Yellow | Tickets currently being worked on
| Green | Tickets that have been addressed and completed |
| Black | Tickets that will not be addressed, often due to irrelevance or low priority |
Grey | Archived tickets that no longer appear on the map view by default |
Customizing Pin Colors
By default, ticket pins on the map are colored based on their status. However, you can change this to color pins based on any custom select property instead for each form seperately.
To change the pin color source:
Open the settings for your form
Find the "Color Based On" setting
Select which property should determine the pin color:
Status (default) — uses the status colors described above
Any custom select property — uses the colors you've defined for each option
When using a select property, make sure each option has a color assigned. You can set these colors when creating or editing the property in your ticket form.
This is useful when you want to visualize tickets by a different dimension, such as priority level, category, or assigned team.
