Tutorial

Effective progress tracking is crucial for visualizing and managing the development of any project, and with Sitemark, you can easily monitor the real-time progress of components on your site. Our platform offers a seamless way to track and visualize key stages of your project from installation to completion.

Here’s how you can utilize Sitemark’s Progress Monitoring features to stay informed about your project’s progress:

Start with Your Schedule

Progress tracking begins with your project schedule. To ensure accuracy and consistency, you can send your schedule to your account manager, and we’ll integrate it into your Sitemark project. This ensures that all project timelines and milestones are aligned within the platform, allowing you to track progress using the same reference.

  • Break down progress by region: Whether by inverter region, feeder region, or any other division created by your account manager, you can break down progress by different sections of your project.

Tracking Progress

Sitemark allows you to visualize your project’s progress of each component that reflect the work completed in each region. These tables are updated in real-time, showing progress according to the project schedule.

  • View project status: Inverter zones and component statuses are displayed in tables where you can see the progression of tasks such as Quality Control (QC) completion, assembly stages, and more.

  • Customization options: You can customize and filter the data by selecting specific zones or components for a more detailed view.

Component Status Updates

Each component in your project, such as tables in the video example, is assigned a status that represents its progress. You can create as many stages as you need, allowing you to track the work completed on each component.

  • Changing component status: When a component progresses to a new stage (e.g., from horizontal beams to vertical beams), you can update its status using the Edit Property function (see video above).

Map View for Quick Overview

For a bird’s-eye view of your project, Sitemark provides a map view that highlights the entire site. By selecting specific components on the map (such as tables), you can quickly see their status using color coordination. This helps you to visually identify the progress of different components and regions on your site.

  • Bulk status updates: You can easily update the status of multiple components at once by holding down the Alt or Control key on your keyboard and selecting the desired components. Then, simply use the Edit Property option to update their status in bulk.

Real-Time Updates on Dashboards

Once updates are made, they’re reflected immediately in your tables dashboard. This allows you to visualize progress in real-time, whether it’s through an S-curve chart, a progress table, or an overall completion dashboard.

  • Share progress with stakeholders: The updates are displayed in a way that allows you to share the current status with any stakeholders involved in the project. You can export data or share visual reports to keep everyone on the same page.
