🛣️ Roads and trenches, tracked properly
Your roads and trenches now show on the map with their real shape, not a thin line down the middle. Progress tracking and charts work exactly as before, and because Sitemark follows the real shape, it can flag where a built road or trench strays from the design.
This needs design files that include roads and trenches as drawn shapes in your 2D or 3D model. Simple line-based files keep working as they do today.
📏 Trench depth checks
Sitemark now measures how deep your trenches are dug and flags any stretch that's too shallow against the design, so nobody has to measure by hand in the field.
We're trialling this on a small group of sites and opening it up quickly. Want it on one of yours? Reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
📅 A new calendar view for your tickets
The tickets tab has a new calendar view, next to the board and table you already use. Every ticket with a planned date shows up there with its time, its site, and the person it is assigned to, in a month, week, or day layout.
It is the quickest way to see what your technicians already have on and where there is still room in the week, without keeping a planning spreadsheet next to Sitemark. Planned tickets still sync to the assignee's Outlook or Google Calendar, exactly as before.
✨ A cleaner, faster platform
Buttons look and behave the same everywhere, the login and settings pages are clearer, the sidebar is lighter, and design files now sit in a sortable list. Most pages load noticeably faster too, so the screens you open every day feel less busy and less sluggish.
Also shipped in July
Clearer permissions: every permission now has a plain-language name and sits in a tidy, collapsible list, so the right one is easy to find. You can also grant permissions per form, so someone who only needs to fill in a single checklist no longer needs broader ticket access. User management and permissions →
Timeline for everyone: the site map timeline, which lets you jump back to any past capture, is now available to all customers instead of on request.
Site time-lapses: export a short time-lapse of any site to show how it has changed over time.
Automatic pallet spotting: pallets are now detected on their own on construction sites.
Backdated progress: log a progress update on the day the work actually happened, even if you record it later.
All your tickets in one list in Field Link: technicians can see every ticket assigned to them across all sites, ordered by planned date, with filters that stick between visits.
Sort and filter your portfolio tickets: order the portfolio ticket list by any column and save the filter combinations you use most for one-click views.
Bulk actions in the components and tickets tables: update many components or tickets at once without switching to the map.
